How does it work with the pedigree name and call name?
We assign all puppies their official pedigree name ourselves. Because we make the final match between puppy and owner around 7 weeks of age—when their individual personalities are clear—we choose these official names in advance.
Unlike traditional breeder conventions, we do not work with fixed initial letters per litter. We simply choose pedigree names that we love (often classic Dutch names). Occasionally, we use a special theme—for example, with foster/co-ownership females (such as names inspired by famous scientists).
You are, of course, completely free to choose your puppy’s call name!
The pedigree name is strictly for official documentation. Whatever call name you decide to give your dog at home is entirely up to you.
